It all starts in Nashville this summer.
In a reality television series developed to highlight the antics of backwoods Louisiana duck call magnates, 17-year-old Sadie Robertson has increasingly become the breakout star of A&E’s Duck Dynasty. Following asuccessful stint on the ABC series Dancing with the Stars, the teen went on to promote her new book, Live Original.
Recent reports provide a hint as to the scope of her next project outside of the Duck Dynasty sphere. Following her announcement Friday afternoon, Gospel Herald reported that Sadie Robertson will be headlining an upcoming college tour expected to begin this summer.
Robertson, daughter of Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson and his wife, Corrie, already shared some details of her summer plans – including the first stop of the Live Original LIVE tour. She has provided some insight via social media and her own website.
Promotional material confirms the “inspirational gathering” will take place at Nashville’s Lipscomb University Aug. 29. Several prominent guests – including some from within her own family – will be appearing alongside her. A musical performance by Australian Christian group For King & Country is also planned.
Tickets for the event start at $29 and are available at http://liveoriginal.com/
Sharing her thoughts of the upcoming event, Robertson wrote: “This is the most excited I have ever been about any event, and that’s saying a lot! We have been praying that this message will touch a lot of lives.”
